Situated in an undulating landscape. This was first identified by Tom Condit from aerial images (OSI 1995, 2005; Google Earth 18/04/2009, 19/03/2015; Digitalglobe) where it appears to be a raised subcircular grass-covered area (dims c. 65m N-S; c. 55m E-W) defined by an earthen bank that is most visible NW-NE and SE-SW with what would appear to be an outer fosse. The corner of a field to the SW impinges on the perimeter at SW.
