Located on the summit of a broad, low hill. A short rectangular cist (int. dims 0.52m x 0.3m; D 0.38m) oriented NW-SE and built in a circular pit (diam. c. 1.3m) came to light during ploughing in 1960. It had a large capstone (max. dims 1.2m x 0.74m; T 0.06m) with spalls filling the gaps between it and the side-stones, and the cist had some flat stones on the floor. It contained the cremated remains of two or three individuals but no pottery (Rynne 1962, 33-5). The cairn (ME009-085----) is c. 100m to the SE.
