What is recorded here

Situated on a slight col with hills c. 200m to the N and E and lower ground to the SW. This is a raised, oval and grass-covered area (dims 78.5m N-S; 60.5m E-W) defined by a scarp (at N: Wth 1.9m; H 0.45m), with an outer fosse (at N: Wth of base 2.8m; ext. D 0.3m) that is visible NW-NE. An original entrance is not identified The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987).
