Located against the E wall of the graveyard attached to St Bridgid's Roman Catholic church at Ballinacree is a limestone cross (H 1.08m; span 0.62m) with a disc-head which is almost square in shape (diam. 0.41m). It has a chamfer on every edge, and a rectangular stem (dims 0.3m x 0.18m at base) that narrows as it rises (dims 0.24m x 0.16m at top) towards the head. The arms and top of the shaft are smaller (dims 0.16m x 0.15m) and quite short (L 0.1m). There is no inscription, but it is probably 17th century in date. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987).
