Standing on a road bank at the W side of a N-S road and aligned NNE-SSW. A cross with a solid disc-head (H10.5m; span 0.5m) that is slightly raised has a rectangular cross-section (dims at base 0.22m x 0.1m). It is plain apart from a perforation (diam. 5cm) at the centre of the head. It is known locally as the 'White Cross' and is thought to commemorate a hunting accident or mark a Croppy's grave. It may be 17th century in date.
