Situated on a shelf towards the bottom of the W-facing slope of a drumlin. This was a subcircular area (dims 35m N-S; 29m E-W) that was removed in 1967 when it was only visible as the vegetation mark on the site of the bank or a slight scarp (at S; Wth 3.3m; H 1m).
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
