Situated on the summit of an undulating ridge. This rath is described as ‘Lisnacross’ in gothic lettering on the OS 6-inch maps. It is a raised circular and grass-covered area (diam. 35.5m N-S) planted with mature deciduous trees which is defined by an earthen bank (Wth of base 6-8m; int. H c. 0.5m; ext. H 1.5-1.8m), with an outer stone facing. There is no visible fosse but the original entrance may be the gap (Wth of base 2.2m) at ESE. The cross (ME005-089002-) is at the centre.
