What is recorded here

Located on a slight rise towards the bottom of a SW-facing slope. This is a circular grass-covered area (diam. 25.5m NE-SW; 24.5m NW-SE) defined by a slight grass-covered bank (at WNW: Wth of base 4.5m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1m) W-N that is largely reduced to a low scarp (at ESE: Wth 2m; H 1m), with sight traces of a fosse (at WNW: Wth of top 3m; ext. D 0.3m) WSW-NW. The original entrance is not identified The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Meath' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1987).
