Situated on a NW-facing slope of a broad SE-NW spur. This is a circular grass and rush-covered area (diam. 34.2m NW-SE; 33.5m NE-SW) defined by a scarp (at SE: H 0.6m; at SSW: H 1.6m) and hedge NE-E-SW that morphs into a field bank and hedge SW-NW. The interior is bisected by a NE-SW field bank. There is no visible fosse and the original entrance is not identified.
