What is recorded here

In farmyard, surrounded by farm buildings. Very poorly preserved, inaccessible remains of ground floor of rectangular tower (10.4m N-S; 13m E-W). Upper storeys have collapsed into interior. External walls largely robbed. No other architectural features. Owned by Walter MacJonyn in 1574 (Knox 1908, 347). The above description has been derived from D.
