What is recorded here

A circular enclosure (diam. c. 20-25m) is shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map; it is not shown on later map editions. There is no visible trace at ground level. It appears to have been located on a rise with a fall of ground to SW towards a stream/drain. There is a castle (MA119-032----) on the opposite, S side of the drain. This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed.

The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
