What is recorded here

Near road, in undulating pasture. Ringfort (MA118-111----) 150m to S. Roughly circular area (29m N-S; 35m E-W), raised 3.4m above surrounding field level, enclosed by low earthen bank (H 0.4m) with fosse and external bank on W. Two subrectangular hut sites in interior. Hut site 1 (MA118-110003-) (3.1m N-S; 2.8m E-W), on W side, defined by low earthen bank (H 0.3m) contains souterrain (MA118-110002-). Hut site 2 (MA118-110004-) (12.1m N-S; 6.4m E-W) on NE is defined by sod-covered foundations of stone wall. Ramp entrance (Wth 2.5m) on ESE. The above description has been derived from D.
