In the SE quadrant of a cashel (SL118-071001-). This hut site was described in OPW Topographical Files (1983) as ‘a small, rectangular hut site just inside the wall on the SE.’ (SMR file). An Archaeological Survey of Ballinrobe and District recorded it as follows: ‘Hut site 3: 18m S of 2 [SL118-071004-], rectangular in shape (7.4m N-S; 6.2m E-W) ajoined to cashel wall by two low, linear stone walls.’ (Lavelle 1994).
