In pasture, on a height sloping downwards to the W. Commanding view to W and N. Oval-shaped cairn (diam. 43m E-W; H 6m) delimited by kerbing on the S. Situated in interior of henge (MA117-042002-). Harbison (1970, 172) suggests the cairn may cover a passage grave. It is traditionally known as 'Eochy's Cairn' and according to legend is the burial place of King Eochai, last king of of the Fir Bolg. This is a National Monument in State guardianship (No. 246).
