Situated in Cushlough Bay, 100m from E shore of Lough Mask. Oval-shaped island (16m N-S; 18m E-W), apparently artificially constructed of stone. Four timber posts visible in the NE of the site. Nine cross beams protrude through earth and stone on S, orientated E-W. Site is virtually submerged at winter lake levels. Breakwater extends to the SW.
