In average pasture, in the NW corner of a field, located at the base of the W-facing slope, bordering an expanse of flat reclaimed pasture and rush-grown, boggy ground which stretches to W–NW.
A low mound (c. 6m E–W; c. 14m N–S) consisting of two sod-covered rises separated by a depression (Wth 3m), possibly indicating the location of a trough. The limits are not clearly defined.
There is a fulacht fia (MA111-104002-) c. 15m to S, and two burnt mounds (MA111-097----; MA111-098----) are located c. 85m to NW and c. 80m to NNE respectively.
