In a rath (MA103-030001-). Knox (1911, 231) noted that ‘In the outside of the outer ring is a vertical stone about two feet high, a little in advance of the ring. Beside it to the south is a large horizontal stone in the ring [outer bank], which may be the lintel of a closed creep hole.’ Two large stones are evident in the external bank at E, one on its inner face, one on its outer face, but not in line with each other. There is no visible evidence that either represents part of a souterrain. Compiled by: Jane O’Shaughnessy Date of upload: 4 November 2022
