In pasture, on a ridge, just below the highest point. Ground falls steeply to SW giving extensive views over a broad sweep of lowlying pasture and bog.
Not indicated on any edition of the OS 6-inch maps. A D-shaped enclosure is recorded in an aerial photograph (SMR file: GSI M 55 -6; Roll 207, pr. 24).
Low D-shaped platform (46m NNW−SSE; c. 25m ENE−WSW) defined on the curving side at SSE−N by a scarp (H 0.6m; Wth slope 1.8m), which is poorly preserved on the S arc. The straight side at NE is formed by a high scarp/hedgerow bordering a road. There is a low area/break (Wth c. 2m) in the scarp at NW. A post and wire fence on a NW−SE axis cross the S end of the platform.
