In pasture, on the SW slope of a ridge, with good views SE−SW.
Slightly sunken circular area (diam. mid bank 7.5m NE−SW; 8m NW−SE) defined by a bank (Wth 2.6m; int. H 0.45m at SW, 0.6m at NE; ext. H 0.8m at SW, 0.3m at NE) of stony/gravelly soil. Remnants of a field fence on a NW−SE axis overlie the exterior edge of the bank at NE. There is a small quarry pit (9m N−S; 3-4m E−W) immediately to W and a property fence lies immediately to SE of the site.
Sod-covered, with two hawthorn bushes on the perimeter.
