In pasture, prominently sited on the highest point on the narrow spine of a steep-sided esker which extends NE–SW in a sinuous line. The location provides excellent views of the surrounding landscape.
A small, roughly circular rise (4.4m N–S; 3.2m E–W; H 0.45-0.7m) with a flat top (diam. 1.7m). At NW–SE the side of the mound merge with the steep natural slope of the esker.
