In pasture, crowning the top of a hill with extensive views over a broad expanse of low-lying pasture and bog.
Slightly raised, sub-circular area (diam. 57m N–S) defined by partly levelled remnants of a scarp. The scarp (H 1.3; Wth slope 8m) remains distinct NNW–NE, where it merges with the natural fall of ground, but at E–S it survives only as a slight rise. At SW–NW it is incorporated into a field bank (Wth 1m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.4m) topped with a post and wire fence. There is a slight rise in ground level in the centre of the interior.
