What is recorded here

In pasture, 300m SSW of ringfort (MA100-051----). Circular area (51m N-S; 50m E-W), enclosed by heavily overgrown earthen bank (H 0.9m), with external fosse (D 0.2m) NE to S; skirted by road on N and W. Entrance (Wth 3m) on E. The above description has been derived from D. Lavelle (compiler), An Archaeological Survey of Ballinrobe and District including Lough Mask and Lough Carra.
