On narrow neck of land cutting off extensive area of tree and scrub known as Doon Wood. Well built wall (L 114m; Wth 15m; H 2.2m) of dry-stone masonry extends across entire width of neck of land. Gap (Wth 3m) in centre is probably a much later gateway. Field fence runs along top of site. Two enclosures, (MA099-018002-) and (MA099-018003-) are situated at the W end of the enclosed area, beside lakeshore.
