In pasture, located on a slight rise.
Circular earthen platform (estimated diam. 30-35m) defined by an earth and stone scarp (H 1-1.3m, 0.8m at E) which has been incorporated into a later field fence on the N arc. The interior appears to be level but is engulfed in an impenetrable thicket of blackthorn and brambles and could not be examined. The perimeter is thickly ringed by hazel, ash and oak trees. There are heaps of field clearance debris at intervals around the perimeter. Post and wire fencing encircles the rath. Two conjoined raths (MA093-040----; MA093-042----) are located c. 200m to S.
