In improved pasture, located on top of a hill in undulating terrain; extensive views in all directions.
This mound is not shown on any edition of the OS 6-inch maps. A low, sub-rectangular, flat-topped mound or platform (11.5m NW-SE; 10m NE-SW; H 0.7m at NE, 1.2m at NW) with large stones protruding randomly from the sides. The top of the mound rises slightly at the NW end, creating the impression of a slight central dip. A field fence which bordered the NW side of the mound has been removed.
