Situated on the southern bank of a stream on an ENE-facing slope in marshy, enclosed land. A holy well (MA085-012002-) lies c. 30m to SE. The fulacht fia consists of a small oblong grassy mound (N–S 4m, E–W 2.4m). At its southern end a large stone (L 0.95m × Wth 0.55m × H 0.25m) sits on the surface of the mound: it has a natural depression in its upper surface. The location of the trough area is not obvious.
