In an expanse of rolling reclaimed pasture, located towards the base of a S-facing slope giving extensive views to S–SE.
This rath is evident as a raised, circular area (26.5m N–S; 25.2m E–W) defined by a low, broadly slumped scarp (Wth slope 2m at N, 5.7m at S; H 0.4m at N, 0.7m at S), which has been partly levelled. The platform appears to have been built up higher on the S half to compensate for the natural slope. There is a rath (MA073-019----) located c. 200m to WSW and another rath (MA074-005----) c. 215m to NE.
