In rough, rocky pasture, encompassing a lowlying hollow overlooked to NE by a hillock.
Subcircular area (40.6m N–S; 37m E–W) enclosed by a drystone wall (Wth 0.8m; max. H 1.6m), The wall is constructed of random medium-sized, horizontally laid blocks and slabs with some larger stones evident in the basal course. It appears similar in size and construction technique to adjacent field walls, which abut the enclosure at N, E, and SW. It is partly tumbled in places, and largely covered in brambles, ivy and hawthorn.
The interior is fairly level and grassy, and is not raised above external ground level but encloses a natural dip in ground level. A rim (Wth 4m E–W) of raised ground borders the inner face of the wall at W. There is an entrance gap (Wth 2.4m) at the NNW, facing rising ground; it is bordered on the W side by a large boulder.
