Located in rough pasture, bordering a spring-fed area of wet ground. A very low D-shaped rise (5-6m N−S; c. 4m E−W to field wall), which appears to be composed of stones in a matrix of black peaty soil. It is bordered on the straight side at E by N−S drystone field wall. It is largely concealed by a grass, rushes and brambles. A holy well (MA073-013----) and an ogham stone (MA073-012----) are located 8-10m to N.
