What is recorded here

In level, damp pasture, located on the banks of a NW-flowing stream. Roughly subcircular mound (c. 9m NW−SE, c. 10-12m NW−SE; H 0.65m) composed of heat-shattered stones in black soil. A drain (Wth 1.2m) on a NW–SE axis cuts through the W side of the mound and a ruined field wall (Wth 0.6m) cuts across E half of the mound, parallel to the drain. The portion of the mound to E of the field wall has been levelled and is marked by bright green short grass, which contrasts with the surrounding wet, soft boggy ground. The mound is partly obscured by brambles. Three other fulacht fia (MA072-107----; MA062-133003-; MA062-133004-) are located along the same stream valley, 0.40m to NNW; 55m to NNW and 0.90m to NNW, respectively.
