Within a rath (MA072-051----). A ruined sub-rectangular building (3.7m NE–SW; c. 7.6m NW–SE) is located slightly SE of centre within the rath, abutting a NW-SE field wall of relatively modern date, which extends through the rath. It is defined on the NE side by the field wall, on SE and SW by a ruined stone wall (H 0.75-1m), and is open at the NW end. It does not appear to be an ancient structure; it seems likely to be the ruins of a vernacular house, which is shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map.
