In reclaimed, damp pasture, located on the N bank of a stream in a sheltered stream valley. There are raths (MA071-039----; MA071-040----) are located 30m to NW 60m to ESE, respectively.
When inspected in 1997, discrete surface patches of very black soil incorporating angular sandstone fragments were exposed in an area of reclaimed ground bordering the N side of the stream. It was not possible to determine the full extent of the remains, which may represent a levelled burnt mound or fulacht fia.
