What is recorded here

In a rath (MA071-143----). The remains of this souterrain are visible as a linear grassed-over depression (Wth 2m; D 0.4-0.6m) which zig-zags through the level W half of the interior. It extends from a point close to the rath scarp at NNW to SE for 7.5m, changes direction to SW for 4.7m and then continues to SSE for a further 11m. At the NNW end, a slab, probably an in situ lintel or roof slab, is visible in a sub-surface void. Compiled by: Jane O’Shaughnessy Date of upload: 13 September 2021
