In pasture, on a broad level terrace on the SW-facing slope of a ridge, overlooking a valley of boggy pasture at SW–W. There is rising ground to NE.
An oval enclosure (35-40m N−S; 20-25m E−W) is shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map, with the townland boundary coinciding with the E arc of the enclosure. It is not shown on the 1931 edition.
It has been levelled; the ephemeral outline of a level area (c. 35m N−S; c. 16m E−W) is evident, bordered on the E side by a field wall engulfed in overgrowth.
