In a rath (MA071-030----).
A surface depression (2m E–W; 1.2m N–S) with a lintelled opening (Wth 0.9m; H 0.6m) at its W end is located slightly NW of centre in the rath interior. The opening reveals a subterranean passage of dry-stone construction, which extends to the W. It most likely links up with a second lintelled opening (Wth 0.5m; H 0.3m) visible 10m to SW in the external face of the rath bank.
