In pasture, located on top of a N–S ridge, with good views to W, N and E. Ground falls away towards a stream/drain which is c. 200m to E, and rises gently to S along the spine of the ridge.
Shown as a circular enclosure (diam. 45-50m) on the 1838 OS 6-inch map; not shown on later map editions. It has been levelled. The ephemeral outline of a circular area (diam. c. 45m) can still be traced. Traces of cultivation ridges on an E−W axis are visible on the ridge top.
