In undulating pasture, located on a rise overlooking a river which is c. 50m to S.
A circular enclosure (diam. c. 35-40m) is shown on 1838 OS 6-inch map; a semi-circular area incorporated into field boundaries at SE–NNW is indicated on the 1931 edition. There is no visible trace at ground level.
