In pasture, crowning top of knoll, with good views over gently undulating pasture and stretches of lowlying bog.
A circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m) is shown on the 1838 and 1931 OS 6-inch maps. It has been levelled. A flat subcircular area (c. 20.4m E–W; c. 16m N–S) is evident on the summit of the knoll, defined at NNW–ESE by traces of a levelled scarp; elsewhere the scarp is levelled so that it merges seamlessly with the natural hill slope.
