In pasture on a narrow N-S ridge. A roughly circular overgrown area (int. diam. 24m) is defined by a round-topped inner bank of earth and stone (int. H 0.7-1.1m; Wth 5- 6m; ext. H 2-3m) in which some external stone facing (H 0.3m) survives at NE. There is an entrance gap (Wth 2m) at E. A fosse (Wth 2-3m) runs outside the inner bank outside of which a second, outer bank (Wth 4m; int. H 0.8m; ext. H 0.4- 0.7m) is traceable SW-N-NE. A possibly later subrectangular enclosure (L 15m NE-SW; Wth 8m NW-SE) defined by a low bank of earth and stone (H 0.1m; Wth 3m) overlies the fosse just N of the entrance gap. The interior contains a possible souterrain (MA070-105001-) in the SSW sector. A second ringfort (MA070-055----) is visible c. 130m to the N.
