In a narrow strip of level pasture between a small S-slowing stream to the W and the foot of a pasture ridge to the E. Reported as one of six possible fulachta fiadh (along with MA070-008001-, MA070-008002-, MA070-008003-, MA070-008004- and MA070-008006-) running in a more or less N-S line (L c. 200m) near the E bank of a small N-flowing stream, and described as, “a circular mound, hollow in the centre” (SMR file). It survives as a low, subcircular circular, stony mound (diams. 13m N–S; 11m E–W: H 0.4m at SW – 0.8m at S), surrounded by rushes with an abundance of nettles along its W edge, which is the least well defined. It contains a rush-covered rectangular area (L 6m NW-SE; Wth 2m; D 0.3m) which is open towards the NW
