In generally level low-lying, damp, improved pasture.  Reported as one of six possible fulachta fiadh (along with MA070-008001-, MA070-008002-, MA070-008004-, MA070-008005- and MA070-008006-) running in a more or less N-S line (L c. 200m) near the E bank of a small N-flowing stream, and described as, “a large mound, diam. 17m; H 1m” (SMR file). It survives as an oval-shaped grass-covered, stony mound (ext. diams. 15m N–S; 12m E–W; H 0.4-0.6m) with a level upper surface (diams. 10m N-S; 6m E-W).
