This record records the approximate location of a possible ogham stone. The stone was notified to the National Museum in the 1950’s. A sketch of the stone (without dimensions) and a map of its location were included in the original correspondence. The sketch shows an upright, earthfast stone, roughly triangular in shape, with grooves or scores cut at and across one angle. Ten scores are shown in total, in 4 individual sets of two or three scores each. When the location was inspected in 1997, there was no visible trace of the stone; according to local information, the stone was ‘buried’ in the early 1980's during the construction of a modern house.
