In damp, stony pasture, located on the NE bank of a NE-flowing stream.
Irregular-shaped mound (9.5m NW–SE; 5.5m NE–SW; max. H 0.8m at S) composed of angular stone fragments in charcoal-rich soil. It is truncated at E by a farm track. A shallow indentation facing the stream at W may indicate the location of the trough. There is also a noticeable hollow on the NE side. The mound is obscured by gorse.
Three other fulacht fia are located along the same stream valley: MA062-133004- is c. 20m to NE; MA072-107---- is c. 15m to SSE; MA072-107001- is c. 55m to SSE.
