What is recorded here

In pasture, located on a natural rise. The fields immediately to S of the enclosure have been converted to forestry. Slightly raised, circular area (c. 44m N-S; 42.5m E-W) defined by an earthen scarp (H 0.55m at NE; 1-1.4m at S). An ENE-WSW field fence, with a parallel slightly sunken, grassed-over farm track (Wth 2.5m) on its N side, cuts across the interior to S of centre. To the S of the field fence, the enclosing scarp is well preserved but largely obscured by overgrowth. To N of the fence, the enclosing scarp has been has levelled to a low rise. A field fence, on a NNW-SSE axis, clips the W−SW edge of the enclosure, and another field fence, on a NW-SE axis, abuts the scarp at the SW.
