In wettish, rushy pasture, located on a slight rise on flood-prone ground, 10m N of the current shoreline of Lough Killaturly. Ground rises gradually to N for c. 150m, then more steeply towards an E–W ridge.
A low circular platform (3.9m N–S; 3.6m E–W; H above fosse 0.15-0.35m) is enclosed by a fosse (Wth 0.5-0.6m) with an external bank (Wth 1.2-1.7m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.25m).
Another ringbarrow (MA062-107001-) is located c.140 m to N.
