In wettish, rushy pasture, located on a slight rise. Ground rises steeply towards a ridge to N, and falls gently to S for c. 150m to the shores of Lough Killaturly. A farm lane lies a few meters to NW.
Low, circular platform (6m N–S; 5.3m E–W; H 0.7m at N; 0.65m at S) enclosed by a narrow fosse (Wth 1.2m; D 0.25m). There is a slight rise (Wth 1.2m; ext. H 0.15m) on the outer edge of the fosse at the SE, which may be the remnant of an external bank. At NNW–N the fosse is truncated by a shallow, rectangular pit, which is bordered on its N side by the farm laneway. Another small, oval quarry pit lies 1.5m to E.
Another ringbarrow (MA062-107002-) is located c. 140m to S at the lake shore.
