What is recorded here

On the S outskirts of Swinford town. Shown on the 1837 edition OS 6-inch map as a circular embanked enclosure (diam. 30-35m) located within a stand of trees in an area named Brabazon Park. There is no visible trace at ground level; the location is now overlain by modern development. Compiled by: Jane O’Shaughnessy Date of upload: 7 December 2020
