In pasture, located on the N bank of a canalised stream/drain (Wth 1.6m; D 0.5m), which intersects 30m to E with a lowlying hollow of wet ground.
A grass-covered mound (c. 11m N-S; c. 15m E-W; H c. 0.6-0.8m) composed of angular stones in a matrix of black, charcoal-rich soil. Some large stones break the surface of the mound. The limits of the mound are not clearly defined. A gap (W c. 4m), possibly the location of the trough, intervenes between the main body of the mound and a smaller rise at E; alternatively the gap may the result of disturbance. The S edge of the mound has been eroded by farm stock fording the stream at this point. Another fulacht fia (MA040-107---) is located c. 20m to W.
