Located roughly in the centre of the N half of Ballymore Lough. This crannog is shown on the 1838 and 1922 OS 6-inch maps as an island. It is composed of a roughly oval stone cairn (23m NE−SW; 27.1m NW−SE) which slopes steeply into the water at its outer edges. When inspected in 1988, the top of the crannog was c.1.3m above water level, and was largely tree-covered. Much animal bone was noted in the water around the perimeter. Two small stone buildings and a landing slip have been built on the island in recent times, related to the use of the island as a base for shooting wildfowl. Two other crannogs (MA040-108----; MA040-109----) are located, respectively, c. 60m and c. 170m to W.
