In pasture, located on a NNW−SSE rise/low ridge, with a fall of ground to NE and SE, in an area of sharply undulating terrain.
This enclosure, probably a rath, is shown on the 1838 OS 6-inch map as a circular ringfort-like embanked enclosure and on the 1922 edition as a circular hachured enclosure (diam. 30-35m). It has been levelled; a low, grass-covered subcircular rise (diam. 25-30m), without clearly defined limits, is evident at the location.
